Roy “Gooch” Allan Page of Petoskey, 57, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2026, surrounded by his beloved family.
Gooch was born to Roy Page Sr. and Mary Ann Page on July 12, 1968. He grew up in Rockwood, Michigan, amongst his siblings; an area that he greatly loved. A lifelong painter, Gooch began “Roy’s Painting Service” in 1998, a business that supported multiple families and provided opportunities to many. Profoundly dependable and hardworking, he had an immense impact on the lives of all those lucky enough to cross his path, acting as the rock and greatest supporter for those he loved. Gooch met his fiancée, Nicole, in 2021, and they had one daughter together.
He was known for his remarkable attention to detail; a skill which no-doubt aided him in his years as a painter. In his spare time, he was also a BBQ master, and he loved animals, cars, movies, camping, and music. He was known to be “the greatest dad, partner, brother, and grandfather,” able and dedicated to helping both family and friends. He was strong and conscientious, with a fierce love that shone through everything he did.
Gooch is survived by his fiancé, Nicole Biggerstaff; his daughters Tiffany Page, Elizabeth (Page) Brown, Rowyn Page, and Madylin Biggerstaff; his siblings Kim English and Todd Page; grandchildren Jayden English, Landon Premo, Brayden McCoy, and Emma Clay.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Sr. and Mary Ann, as well as his sister Billy Jo Page.
A memorial service will be held for Gooch at the Harbor Light Community Chapel on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM. A Celebration of Life luncheon is to follow at the Petoskey Snowmobile Club. Arrangements are in the care of Stone Funeral Home.
