Shellie Lynne Charboneau, born on March 26, 1973, in Cheboygan, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, at the Cheboygan Harmony House, surrounded by family and her loved ones.

Shellie was a vibrant and lively person. Known for her infectious laughter and kindness, she dedicated her life to a range of passions and always put others before herself. Living as if there were no tomorrow, she engaged in a variety of activities, including bodybuilding, motocross racing, and composing humorous songs. She spent much of her time working in her yard and enjoyed a range of outdoor hobbies. Her joy was transferable to everyone blessed enough to be in her presence.

Shellie is preceded in death by her wonderful Mother Barbara Davis. Shellie is survived by her beloved daughter, Cassie Schwartz; her son-in-law, Grant Schwartz; and her grandson, Zane Schwartz, whom she adored. She is also survived by her brother, Tom (Coleen) Davis; her sister, Roxanne (Robert) Gilbow; her father Edward Davis; and her wonderful mother-in-law, Sharon Davis. Moreover, her aunt, Kathy McKillip, stood by her side during some of her toughest challenges, offering unwavering support and encouragement when it mattered most. Shellie was a cherished presence in the lives of many, and her memory will always be held dear in our hearts. We will greatly miss her warmth and vibrant spirit, as her impact on those who knew her was truly special.

A community celebration in honor of Shellie's life is scheduled for August 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM. This event will be held at Eric Schwiesow's home, located at 9844 Ridge Run, Cheboygan, MI. All members of the community are invited to attend and pay tribute to Shellie's memory. Additionally, Cassie will arrange a separate celebration for her family at a later, unspecified date.
