Stanley Roberts Obituary

Stanley Earl Roberts, 75, of Cheboygan Michigan, passed away on June 11, 2022 at Hospice House of Cheboygan. He was born July 3, 1946 in Cheboygan, the son of Donald M. Roberts and Dorothy E. Vieau.

On August 8, 1970, Stanley married Joy L. Hinkley in Cheboygan.

Stan worked as a mechanic at Baker Automotive for many years and loved everything that involved cars. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors including camping, fishing or just riding around in the woods two-tracking, with a cold beer!

He is survived by his life partner, Joy Roberts, daughters: Penny (Dan) Snofsky of Cheboygan, Dodie (Shaun) Clarmont of Green Bay, and Tina Marie Roberts(Paul Boyle) of Traverse City, four grandchildren, Tad (Tay) Roberts, Shaun Clarmont II(Madi Van Rens), Ila Veu Boyle and Dazy Cyan Boyle, great-grandchildren, Mabel Roberts and Oliver Roberts, sisters, Linda Zac and Landy (Al) Miner, aunts and uncles, Joyce Gibbons, Iola Vanier, Earl Vieau, and Bob Vieau, close cousin, Chris McDonald, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Stan is preceded in death by his parents.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to: Cheboygan County Humane Society. A celebration of life will be held with family and friends in the near future.
