Stephen "Steve" E. Gokee, Jr.

On Thursday May 8, 2025, Heaven gained a wonderful man. Steve Gokee, Jr., passed away at his home in Alanson, Michigan. He was born on December 8, 1957, to Sally and Steve Gokee, Sr. Steve had many hobbies including working on cars and racing them. 

He loved car shows, hunting, fishing, boating, planting flowers in the spring and working outside. Most of all, Steve loved his daughters and his grandchildren.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Sally Gokee; and his youngest daughter Kelly Gokee. Steve is survived by his daughter, Christine Woodward; and his grandchildren Caden, Madelyn, Grant, and Juliana Woodward.

Steve came from a very large family and is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with many friends who loved him dearly.

There will be a celebration of Stevie’s life for family and friends at a later date.
