Steven Dale Jenkins

Steven Dale Jenkins, 68, of Boyne Falls, Michigan, passed away on February 21, 2026, at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey, Michigan.

Son of Michael Eugene and Marlene May (Moyer) Jenkins, Steven was born on August 18, 1957, in Petoskey, Michigan. He grew up in Boyne Falls and attended Boyne Falls Public School.

On December 5, 1981, he married Jackie Jo Williams in East Jordan, Michigan.

Steven served in the United States Army as a mechanic.

He did work as a truck driver and farmer.

Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, and two tracking. He loved spending time with his family.

Steven is survived by his wife Jackie Jenkins; children Daniel (Erika) Jenkins, Mike Jenkins, Stevie Jenkins, Jessica (Tim Russell) Jenkins, and Stephanie (Jason Masserant) Jenkins; 20 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father Michael Eugene Jenkins; mother Marlene May (Floyd Groh); Douglas Eugene Jenkins; and Delores Kay Kroush.

A luncheon will be held at Shanahans Pub at the Charlevoix County Club (9600 Club House Drive, Charlevoix, MI 49720) on March 8, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 4:00PM. A graveside service with military honors will be in the spring of 2026 at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Boyne City, Michigan.
