Steven Allen Topolinski

September 8, 1962 ~ September 19, 2022 (age 60)


Steven Allen Topolinski, 60, of Boyne Falls, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on September 19, 2022.

Son of William and Mary (McCleese) Topolinski, Steven was born on September 8, 1962 in Petoskey, Michigan. He grew up in Boyne Falls and attended Boyne Falls public schools and graduated in 1981.

He joined the Marine Corps after graduating high school and was a supply specialist from 1982 to 1986.

Steven grew up working on his family farm. After his service in the military he worked at LexaMar as an auto parts painter for over thirty years.

Steven was an avid outdoors men. He loved to hunt rabbit, small game, and deer with his dog. He was a motorcycle and dirt bike enthusiast. He also enjoyed running and biking and would compete in long distance marathons or bike races. Steven also liked to kayak and cross country ski.

Steven was very funny and liked to do different character voices. He loved spending time with his family and beagles. He enjoyed family events and flying kites with the kids when they were young. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his father William Topolinski; his siblings: Edward (Jeannette) Topolinski, Theresa (Bob) Parsons, Gerald Topolinski, and Chris (Monalisa) Topolinski; his niece Ashley and nephews Liam and Luke; his grand-niece Camryn; his aunts Evelyn Ealy and Carole Fraser; and his beloved beagle Snoopy.

Steven is preceded in death by his mother Mary Topolinski; many aunts, uncles, and extended family; and his beloved beagles Rusty and Beavis.

Those wishing to make a charitable donation are asked by family to consider the Boyne City Ridge Run Dog Park.

A funeral for Steven will be officiated by Lisa Froelich at Stackus Funeral Home on September 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM. A visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.

Arrangements are in the care of Stackus Funeral Home of Boyne City, Michigan.
