Susan (Brooks) Stanley

Susan Marie Stanley, 65, of Boyne City, Michigan passed away Thursday May 26, 2022 at Hiland Cottage in Petoskey.

Susan was born May 14, 1957 in Petoskey Michigan, the daughter of Richard and Jeanette Brooks. 

Susan cherished and loved her family more than anything in the world. She had a great love of the ocean, dancing, her dog Pitney, and her bird Meeka.

Surviving Susan are her daughters Paula (PJ) Harrington and Country (Dan) Bearss, grandchildren Tristan Stackus, Jory (Yesi) Stanley, Gypsy (Wayne) Stanley, Rain (Eric) Kirk, Savannah, Mason, Shay, and Zane, her boyfriend Ron Bradley, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, siblings, and loving friends.

Preceding Susan in death are her parents Richard and Jeanette Brooks, daughter Heaven Dole, grandson Payne Cole and husband Kyle Stanley.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 3rd at Stackus Funeral Home in Boyne City with a visitation being held from 1:00 PM until the time of service.  Pastor David Behling will be officiating.
