Tamara Collins 47 of Indian river passed away on November 28, 2018 at Highland Cottage in Petoskey Michigan.

Tamara was born on the 13th of May, 1971 in Grand Rapids Michigan. She is the daughter of Gordon "Wayne" VerSluis and Janet (Jaunese) VerSluis. She grew up and attended school in Cedar Springs Michigan . On May 22, 1993 she married Paul Collins at Joy Fellowship Assembly of God in Indian River Michigan.

Tamara enjoyed the Great Lakes and the outdoors, specifically camping, boating, fishing, and mushrooming. She also liked craft making.

Tamara is survived by her mother Janet Jaunese, brothers Todd VerSluis, and Scott VerSluis, sisters -in- law, Liz VerSluis, and Joni Vantassel, sister, Teri (Pohl) Neitzel, step mother, Judy VerSluis, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Gordon "Wayne" VerSluis.
