Teresa "Terri" Sue Kilborn

Teresa Sue Kilborn, "Terri", age 71, passed away peacefully at home, with her beloved cousin Rachel Miller Wrenn by her side, on June 11, 2025.

Terri was a graduate of Petoskey High School, Michigan State University, and the University of Kentucky where she earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work and Counseling.

She worked for many years in the Petoskey School System providing support and guidance to elementary age students from all four local elementary schools until her retirement.

Terri was an avid gardener, bird watcher, pet lover and a water baby. The beach was her favorite place to be, especially Sturgeon Bay.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Kilborn Daly (Hugh); nieces and nephews, Michael (Taylor) Daly, Ryan (Lauren) Daly and Elizabeth (Robert) Daly Lainhart, Rebecca Pollowitz Broughton (Bill); grand nieces and nephews Parker, Jack, Eleanor, Abigail, Harper, Francesca, Scott and Ashley; and many cousins, their families; and countless friends.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Jeanne Kilborn, sister Melinda Kilborn Pollowitz and nephew Greg Pollowitz as well as many aunts and uncles.

A memorial service is not planned at this time. Her loved ones ask that you please plant a flower or a tree in her honor.
