Thomas Fausett

Thomas Fausett, age 79 of Wolverine, MI, died August 9, 2025 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.

Thomas was born on September 15, 1945, in Grand Rapids, Michigan the son of Harvey and Laura (Tabberer) Fausett.  He grew up in Grand Rapids and attended Ottawa High School.

On December 30, 1966 he married Henriette Plaatzer Vanden Hull in Grand Rapids.  Thomas retired from the US Navy in 1985; serving in Vietnam and living in Gaeta, Italy.  After he retired, he went to work for Consumers Energy; first at Big Rock Nuclear Plant until it closed and then Palasades in Holland, MI.  More than anything he loved to fish and hunt.

Thomas is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years Henriette; son William Fauset; daughter Lisa (Mark) Gowings; three grandchildren Megan (Tyler) Barnes, Katlyn (Josh) Shea and Cameron Patterson; two great grandchildren Zoey and Jackson Barnes; four nephews Dean, Mark, Craig and Keith Kindler and their families.  He is also survived by many cousins; sister-in-laws Willie Feher, Elizabeth (Tery) Grootes and Anna (James) Strehlke and their families.

He is preceded by parents; sister Susan and her husband William Kindler.

A memorial service will be held on September 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church in Greenville, Michigan.
