Timothy Robert Stage

Timothy Robert Stage, 69, of Cheboygan, passed away May 28,2022 at his residence in Cheboygan, Michigan.

He was born February 4, 1953, in Highland Park, Michigan the son of Lloyd Albert Stage and Marion Ann (Kutasivech) Stage. He grew up in Troy, Michigan and attended Troy Public Schools.

On May 19, 1984, he married Marlene Johnson in Troy, Michigan.

Tim worked for the City of Troy for 14 years before moving to Cheboygan. He was employed by the Cheboygan County Road Commission for 16 years until his retirement in 2008.

Tim was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed motocross, off-roading, loved working on vehicles and small engines. He also loved his dog, Ruger.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Marion Stage, his brother Lloyd Stage Jr., his wife of 38 years, Marlene, and his dog, Ruger.

He is survived by his son Nicholas Stage, step-daughter Tina (Shane) Redmond and daughter Mariah, ,step-son James (Tammy) Greenwood and daughter Mackenzie; his sister Pamela Stage; his sister-in-laws Fran Stage, Gloria (Jerry) Kennedy, Cathy (Colin) Litzner, Linda (Brian) Wachter; his brother-in-laws Michael Johnson and Brian Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the Beaugrand Township Hall, 1999 North Old Mackinaw Rd., Cheboygan, with the service starting at 11:00a.m. A luncheon will follow the service. Chaplain Diane Meyers will officiate the service.
