Victor John Fabro 88 years young of Carp lake Michigan embraced Heaven August 13,2025 to join his parents Victor and Lydia Fabro brother Louis (Mary) Fabro and daughter Jacinta (Marion) Legg.
Born in Columbus Ohio he found his way by helping his family and his friends every chance he could. He loved his children and enjoyed working, and enjoyed making homemade wine. He continued on his path to raise beautiful families to which in years later chose to move to a small town in Northern Michigan to continue to open his own business only to seek retirement and enjoy his view of Carp Lake.
Victor will join Joan Fabro married for 21 years and raised five amazing children Victor (Skip) Fabro, Judith (Misty)(Roger) Dildine, Jacinta (Cindy)(Marion) Legg, Danny (Barbie) Fabro, and Jacqueline (Jackie)(Kenn) Mather.
Victor will also join Judith (Carter) Fabro of 23 years and raise a daughter Maria (Steve Gofourth) Fabro.
Victor will be remembered by his beautiful sister Cecilia (Mike) Bruzzese and many other nieces and nephews. As well as all of the friends he made along the way. Thank you to Carlo (Shannon) Pelaccio for years of support.
Victor was double blessed with grandchildren Ronnie Dildine, Jamie (Devin) Moore, William Gregg, Keith (Ashley) Kovalcik, Jessica Kovalcik, Brad (Victoria) Roman, Dominick (Jordyn) Pelaccio, Alivia Pelaccio, Micheal (Khrystyna), Jacob and Austin Gofourth.
Victor was extra blessed with Great Grand Children, Marissa, Brayden, Jasmine, Madelynn, Kailey, Kallie, Korbyn, Kassidy, Alice, Victoria, Nova, Oliver and Nico.
Victor was not only known for his beautiful decor of Tile, Marble and Terrazzo settings in Harbor Springs, Bay Harbor, Petoskey Schools and Boyne Highlands but also his displays in Columbus Ohio. Building the street scape sidewalks with decorative brick work, his quarry tile installation at Anheuser Busch. He also received a National award for his work on the St. Joseph Cathedral Altar in Columbus Ohio. His artistic talents spread joy to so many people, yet he was the one that found joy in every tile that he laid.
Victors’ passion for work, family, love and God was shown through his smile as well as his spirit. His greatest achievements were his children as he always wanted them to be strong, successful individuals. He always stated that ‘patience was a virtue’ and that hard work, dedication, love and faith will always pay off in the end.
Please join us Saturday August 23rd from 1pm-4pm at the Carp Lake Pavillion, to celebrate with friends and family. Victor will not want us to mourn him but to embrace his life and to celebrate who and what he was and to remember his wonderful and kind soul.
