Violet Stireman Obituary

Violet Lillian Stireman, 95, of Cheboygan, MI passed away on January 25, 2023. She was born on March 1, 1924 to the late Charlie and Millie (Pakstas) Alish.

She grew up in Dearborn, Mi., and graduated from Fordson High School in 1945. In June of 1946, Violet married Jack B. Osborne in Dearborn where the couple made their home.

Violet was a secretary for Detroit Edison, and formerly Desoto Car Company. In 1956 she married Walter C. Potok in Detroit. The couple made their home in Livonia. Violet had been employed for Ford Motor Co. and later of Livonia Post Office. Mr. Potok preceded her in death in 1966. On May 28, 1976 she married Robert Stireman in Livonia. At that time the couple moved to Indian River where they have been ever since. The couple spent many winters in Florida and Alabama.

Violet was a member of The Indian River Sportsmans Club, F.O.E. Arie 4046 of Indian River, The Shrine Fellowship, and Indian River Golf Club.
