William Bescoe Obituary

William “Bill” Miles Bescoe, 71, of Indian River, MI passed peacefully on March 31, 2025 with his wife at his bedside.

William was born on September 14, 1953 in Detroit, MI, the son of Edwin Bescoe and Lorraine Samulski. He grew up in Redford, MI, graduating from Redford Union High School in 1972. On July 3, 2004 he married Kelly Perez in Northville, MI at the Millrace Historical Village Park. He worked at DTE Energy, retiring after 39 years of service. William enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing pickleball. His biggest passion however was his family. William absolutely loved his family and friends more than anything. He was fun loving, easy to talk to, and a natural coach to anyone who needed assistance. He will easily be remembered by his family and friends as the ultimate boy scout, always knowing what to do in tough situations.

William is survived by his wife Kelly Bescoe, children Matthew (Erin) Bescoe, Bradley (Carrie) Bescoe, Kristen (Nick) Tatro, Thomas DeWitt, and Tracy (Jason) Baker, grandchildren Zachary, Andrew, and Kayli Baker, Tyler and Stephen DeWitt, Grace, Tom, and Lincoln Bescoe, Ryan and Alyssa Bescoe, and Logan, Emma, and Charlotte Tatro. He is also survived by his siblings Rick (Kathy) Bescoe, Dale Bescoe, Tammy (Dennis) O’Donnell, Bridgette (Tom) Nicodemos, Lori (Duane) Silverthorn, and John Bescoe, as well as mother in law Nancy Taylor. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, as well as siblings Robert Bescoe and Juanita Sayig.
