William Little Obituary

William D Little, 79, passed away on September 2, 2025 in his home in Harbor Springs, Michigan.  He was the husband of Linda for 48 years.

Born in Detroit, he was the son of Albert and Betty and graduated from Southfield High School.  He was a Vietnam War Veteran serving 4 years in the Navy.  Upon return, he graduated from Western Michigan University.  William loved skiing, working at Bavarian Village during the week and teaching lessons on the weekends which is where he met Linda.  He joined newly formed Craft Barresi Consultants in 1977, working there for 40 years until his retirement in 2017. Through his time there, he traveled all over the country doing what he loved- building relationships and talking to people.

He loved the outdoors, an avid hunter, boater and fisherman, always racing to get Up North.

He loved Detroit sports and University of Michigan football.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda and children, Christine Allen (Patrick) and Andrew, and grandsons, William and Charles.  He is also survived by his sisters Sally Kelsey (Ken) and Mary Cousino (Charley) and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.  He had many dogs throughout his life that brought him great joy.

A service celebrating his life will be held at Kirk in the Hills in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan on September 11, 2025 at 11am with a luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Redmond Township Fire Department at www.rfcfirerescue.com.or to the Cross Village Yacht Club Scholarship Fund for students to attend Great Lakes Maritime Academy at P.O.
