William "Bill" E. Connor

William Edward “Bill” Connor, 94, of Walloon Lake, Michigan (formerly Harbor Springs), passed away on September 9, 2025.

Bill was born March 24, 1931, in Detroit, MI, the son of Otis Samuel and Arietta Connor.

Bill joined the Marines and served in the Korean War.

Bill married Betty Jo (Bauer) Connor on October 16, 1959, in Detroit, MI. They would have been married for 66 years in October 2025.

Bill worked as a Steel Worker at Overhead Conveyor Company.

Remaining to cherish Bill’s memory are his spouse, Betty Jo; children, Donald Connor, Robert Connor, and Marianne Connor; daughter-in-law Jean Connor; grandchildren, Collin Connor, Caitlin Connor, Phillip Connor, Daniel Connor, Kelly Steinaway, Kathryn Ruffing, and Elizabeth Fraser; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Services are in the care of Stone Funeral Home, Petoskey.
