Yvonne Marie (Shampine) Pizzo

Yvonne Pizzo, aged 69 passed away on January 21, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. Peacefully, yet unexpected, Yvonne left this life for a new one, greeted by her late husband and best friend Vito to a life of Eternal happiness. She was born September 29, 1953.

Yvonne spent her younger years growing up on the Newman Farm of Cheboygan. She attended school locally and in 1973 her son Jamie was born. Two years later she met Victor Pizzo (Vito), who she spent an entire decade "dating" before marrying in the spring of 1985. Together, Yvonne and Vito devoted their lives to card games, camping and most especially grandchildren.

Yvonne is survived by her son, Jamie; stepdaughters Marcy and Lisa (Larry); grandchildren Mariah, Alisa (Beau), Aaron, Joseph, Anthony and Marisa; and great-grandchildren Annalisa and Hunter.

Yvonne wanted to be remembered with these words, " I love my grandkids dearly, I love my Sadie, and all my family". 

A memorial service will be held at Nordman-Christian Funeral Home, Cheboygan MI on Friday, January 27, 2023.  Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. with service beginning at 4:00 p.m. Pastor Dave Heuter will officiate.
