Obituary
Denise Lemorie passed away peacefully with her family and her dog Tipper beside her on May 12,2022. She had been suffering from a chronic illness for a long time.
Denise is survived by her parents Russell and Virginia Lemorie, sister Diana (Lawrence) Phillips, brothers Clifford (Margo) Lemorie, Steven (Pamela) Lemorie, as well as four nieces;Alicia Lemorie, Sara Lemorie, Kristen (Brad) Westcott and Megan (Evan) Wilson, and Great niece and nephews Peyton, Griffin and Calvin. She is also survived by living companion Douglas Brooks as well as many close friends in Cheboygan.
Denise thoroughly enjoyed the friendships made while working at Johnnie's and the Moose Lodge and loved being involved in the events and pot lucks there.
Denise was a kind and generous soul with an infectious laugh who loved to spend time with family, friends and her "Fur Babies". Denise loved to sing and loved to listen to her nieces
sing who grew up listening to her.
The family will honor Denise's wishes, and have a celebration of her life with family and friends later this summer.
