Lawrence "Larry" Michael Flynn, 68 of Mackinaw City, MI passed away June 5, 2023 at home. A memorial will be held July 7, 2023 in Mackinaw City, MI.
Larry was born June 9, 1954 in Detroit, MI son of Elden and Helen Flynn. He attended Guardian Angels (1968), Denby High School (1972) and received his degree from Wayne State University. On September 8, 1978 he married the love of life, Helene Lazarow and had two children Meghan and Ryan. His grandson, Merrick, was one of his greatest prides. Larry had a successful career, rising to VP of Sales for Nortel Networks. At the time of his passing he was President of the Mackinaw Historical Society. For his entire life, people gravitated towards him. Well read, smart, warm, kind, gracious, helpful and most of all - hilarious. His ability to make people laugh, feel comfortable and make friends was second to none. He will be greatly missed by all those who had the good fortune to know him. We reached out to Larry for a clever pun to include in this but he couldn’t be reached for comment.
