Adolph "Ed" & Constance (Renaud) Jensen

Adolph "Ed" Jensen Jr., 93, of Petoskey, passed away on February 20, 2018 at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey.

Ed was born on August 20, 1924 in Detroit, MI, the son of Adolph Edwin Jensen and Carrie Hanson. He grew up in Detroit, MI. On February 12, 1949, he married Constance

(Connie) Renaud at the Sacred Heart Church in Grosse Ile, MI. Ed spent over twenty years serving our country in the US Navy as a Corpsman. He was stationed on multiple

Pacific Islands during WWII and then in Washington DC and New York City thereafter. After leaving the service, he moved his family to Scottsdale, AZ, where his interest in

railroading lead him to serve as a president of the Live Steamers Club. Throughout his life, Ed was an avid bowler, who more recently after turning 80 years old bowled a 300

game on three separate occasions. He also loved building remote control model airplanes and traveling the United States and Canada with his wife, seeing all of the sights.

Ed is survived by his children Patricia (Darrel) Golic, David Jensen, Donald Jensen, and Douglas Jensen, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death

by his wife Connie Jensen, his parents, and 4 siblings.

A memorial service for Ed and Connie will be held on April 9, 2018, at St. Mary's  Catholic Church in Cheboygan. Visitation will begin at 10:30am and the service will begin at 11:30am

Constance (Connie) Jensen, 90 of Petoskey passed away on December 23, 2017 at American House in Petoskey.

Connie was born on July 2, 1927 in Grosse Ile, MI, the daughter of Charles and Madeline Renaud. She grew up in Grosse Ile and attended Grosse Ile High School. On February 12, 1949 she married Adolph (Ed) Jensen at the Sacred Heart Church on Grosse Ile. She enjoyed drawing birds, painting, baking and bowling. Connie was dedicated to raising her family as well as activities outside the home. While living in Arizona, she was a member of the Scottsdale Hospital Auxiliary and worked a number of years for the Scottsdale School District.

Connie is survived by her husband Ed, children Patricia (Darrel) Golic, David Jensen, Donald Jensen, and Douglas Jensen, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Mark Renaud and Dorothy Bray.

A memorial service for Connie will be held on April 9, 2018, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cheboygan. Visitation will begin at 10:30am and the service will begin at 11:30am
