Our sincere condolences to Al's children, grandchildren, brother, sister, family, and friends. Al had a wonderful rapport with the employees at LTBB. When I worked there, we would hear Al's boisterous laughter and singing down the hallway and say "Al's in the building" and smile. Then he would just walk by and say "Hi" and be on his way. He will surely be missed.

My sincere condolences to the family. What a great friend this man was to me, and my entire family. He would do any and everything for anyone. We shared memories of music, we ran as a team for the Executive for our Tribe, we went to the Rock and Roll hall of fame in Cleveland Ohio, he was my go to guy while I was the chairman, I will miss his laugh and his singing, Rest in Peace my friend,

Al definitely had a heart for people and issues that would rob them of personal dignity and fulfillment. I enjoyed working with him on some of the committees he was involved in as, one knew that a project would be successful with Al's involvement. My deepest condolences for the loss of such a fine individual from our community.

I am going to miss your laughter in the halls and your singing. You taught me so much. You gave me a medallion to repair. You said that it belongs to a person at the Roast and Toast. I repaired it for you and charged a small fee. I wonder who that person is that you did that for. RIP my boss and friend.

So sorry for everyone's loss of this kind and caring man. He was a great friend to my brother in law Terry Thompson and then continued to be a wonderfull friend to my sister Marcia Thompson after Terry's sudden passing some 27 years ago.
I remember Al was always one to give a hug and had a beautiful smile like his heart and soul. May you have a wonderful after life my friend.

I want everybody to know that Al and I were like brothers, we did many things together and shared many laughs. Growing up in Hungry Hollow we managed to fill our lives with memories that will never be topped. I will miss our bull sessions we had when you happened to stop by which was like every week , I will miss our golf games, deer hunting and most of all miss the silence we shared just sitting there because true friends never really have to talk. Just being around you all these years has made me a better man and I thank you for that. Look down on us from time to time and send a sign to let me know you are watching. Rest in Peace my brother.

Saturday our Tribe lost a very kind, understanding and peaceful leader. He became my friend and my co-worker when the tribe began with only 7 employees and helped it grow into 700+. He loved his children, his "Pops" (his father who has preceded him) music, outdoors and life overall. He was rich with laughter, kindness and had an innate sense of recognizing and understanding the people around him and their own unique walks of life. I will miss him knowing I cannot walk into my LTBB Government Building and not hear his laughter or hearfelt greeting. My heart has been reaching out to his children since he started his walk. Arms wrapped around each of you for strength. Walk in peace my friend.
