Marge, Mike, Dave and Heather
Bill (Mr. Owen) to me until we worked the elections as been in my life for what seems a lifetime. He picked on me as a kid during our 4-H years and then again as an adult. He lit up the election days with his jokes and smile. He will be missed by many, but especially those who loved him so intimately. He will be smiling down on us and if I feel a thunk in the head I know it will be Bill. He was a great man. Marge we are always here for you if you need anything.

I was so very lucky to get to call this man my dad, and I will miss him terribly. When he married my mom, Marge, in 1978, he adopted me, because he knew I didn't have a dad, and that was unacceptable to him. The love he gave me over the years will carry me through the rest of my life. Thank you, Dad...I love you ❤

I met Bill in 2000. He was sitting at Bar Harbor with his good friend Ted and Johnniepete.
Always so pleasant with a great sense of humor.
We had many good laughs together.
He will be missed, many condolences to his family.
I am sure he is watching over you from heaven, with a smile!
RIP: Bill

Bill was an incredible man and we thought the world of him. When we moved into the house across the street in 2000 around Thanksgiving, our two families became instant friends when I brought over a freshly baked pumpkin pie to introduce ourselves. That tradition stuck for the next 15 years even after we moved to a different part of the city.
We will never forget Bill. He was one of a kind. The world may be a sadder place without him, but heaven is much better with him there.
Love and prayers to everyone in his family.
