Dear Jerry & Family...
We are relatively new to the lake residing two doors down from Ted Stanczak who kindly informed us of Diane's passing.
She dropped by our cottage leaving our DLIA directory a while back, and we had the good fortune of meeting her.
What a kind, classy, elegant woman. We could easily tell she was a special person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all Jerry...

Diane was ever friendly, welcoming and laughing any time I would run into her shopping, out and about. She was a bright light, kind to everyone. She worked hard on her job of contacting everyone for Womenade events and was good at organizing. Douglas Lake is a special, warm place and she was surely devoted to every cause, and any fun, game, or discussion available. I am so sorry you have had to give her up. I will miss her. She is another loss of legend as are Margaret, Katie and more. They do not make 'em like that anymore.

I was fortunate to meet Diane two years ago while playing pickleball and going through my own cancer therapy. My life is richer for the all- too -short time I spent with her. I celebrate her life and send my deepest condolences to her family.
