Dear Bacon Family: Jack was a true gentleman, excellent tennis player, raconteur, fellow golfer, fellow Legionnaire, Fellow Hibernian and fellow Knight of Columbus, and last but not least a true friend. He and Mary Lou left a void in Grand Blanc when they let for Up North.. May they both rest in peace and may my wife Betty get to know them in Heaven. God Bless all.

MaryLou and Jack are both sadly missed ever since they left for their new home up north. I cleaned their home for many years and I was with them on the 9/11 day. We were glued to the TV and praying . They included me with all their friends at the American Legion Hall in Grand Blanc and we really had good times. It does not get any better after knowing wonderful people like them.

I want you to know how much they looked forward to having their children come home to visit. WithLove andGodBless Martha

I met Jack about 20 years ago in Davison. He was a childhood friend of my Uncle Ken Clyne who was killed in action (1943) flying with the Army Air Corps. Jack talked very fondly about Ken and how "terrible" it was that he was killed and he began to cry. I will never forget how touched I was to see a man cry like that after so many years - it showed how big a heart Jack had. Best wishes to Jack's family.
