I'm sorry for the loss of your loved one. The Bible makes this comforting promise: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34:18) May you find comfort, peace and hope in God's word during this time of sorrow. K

Father Tom was our pastor and friend at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Madisonville, TN. He led our church family with wisdom and humility and a sense of humor. He inspired us to become better people and to serve each other in answer to God's call. We miss you Father Tom. Rest well in the arms of our Lord and Savior.

Fr. Tom was our pastor at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Madisonville, TN, he was our confessor, our friend, he pushed us to do more than we as a parish ever imagined we could accomplish. Fr. Tom always said pray and then work and that we did. He had a infectious smile and a wonderful sense of humor. We know that your eyes are once again bright and you are seeing the face of God. Thank you for the faith and love you brought to us. We will miss you.

Fr. Tom was a great mentor to us from the time we first met him when he was pastor of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Madisonville, TN. He always presented a way of looking at things and events toward positivity. We continued to stay in touch with him either through periodic onsite visits or regularly by phone after he chose to take residence at Cross in the Woods. His presence in our lives was a God-send to us and we are ever thankful for that blessing. We will miss hearing his delightful voice spirited conversations.
