Message from Former students from class of 1968, Blessed Sacrament Parish
October 1, 2018 11:09 AM

We wonder if you remember all of the times you slapped, and uncontrollably hit students for smiling or whispering during class? There were many of us. Do you remember taking the boys downstairs to the conference room, individually to humiliate them and poisen their minds? There were many of them. The only thing we regret is not telling our parents about this abuse. It left permanent scars. We hope that God goes over many of these deeds with you and allows you to feel the deep pain you caused.

May the angels greet you Father Frank in paradise, where you will finally know how much you really did for God. Thank you for all the Masses...now you are at every Mass around the world, spiritually celebrating Our Lord's Goodness. Thank you for your loving patience, generosity, kindness, and piano notes! I am a life that was changed because of you. I lift you in prayer and all those you loved and served for so many years. May your spirit be one with God's Love, eternally. May He send His love always to those whom you love. May Our Beautiful Blessed Mother Mary obtain graces for me through your intercession...I know you love her so very much. Thank you for being such a Good Shepherd in my life.

To Fr, Partridge's family my deepest sympathy. Fr. Partridge was my pastor at St. Mary's Church in Cheboygan and superintendent of my childrens' school. He was well-liked and respected for his piety, concern for his flock, and his knowledge and teaching of the Catholic faith.

I always looked forward to seeing Father Partridge with his easy smile and great sense of humor. He would always brighten my day. While I will miss seeing him greatly, I know he is smiling down on all of us who knew and loved him from a place of divine peace and love. Rest well Father Partridge. Thank you for you life of faith, service and friendship. You are missed. Amen.

Frank was a classmate in the Charlevoix High School graduating class in 1948.
It was a class of only 44 students, but one that produced a significant number of high achievers, Frank being one of them. He was accompanied by officers in the U.S. Air Force, an All American athlete, a couple of physicians, and several highly successful businessmen. He contributed as much or more than any of the rest of us, and because of the nature of his calling, will be remembered by many. There are only a few of us left, and I will miss him as much as I do all the other classmates who have already passed.

My sincere condolences to Father Partridge's Family. Father Partridge served as Superintendent of Cheboygan Catholic Schools when I attended school. He baptized both of my children. He was an awesome Priest. Throughout the years I had the pleasure on many occasions to visit with Father and we enjoyed reminiscing. He will be missed by many but now he is in Heaven rejoicing. May the Holy Spirit give you strength during this difficult time.
