We are so sorry to learn of Dick's passing and send our heartfelt sympathy to Cathy and all of the Claes family. What a wonderful man he was. Although distance has kept us from getting together for many years, we have so many fond memories of family picnics and other gatherings before we moved to Tennessee. And then there were the golf outings the uncles and cousins often had. Dick always had a smile on his face and was wonderful to be around. I know he will be missed by so many. May God help you all through this very sad time. 💜

So sorry to hear of cousin Dick's passing. He was one of the sweetest persons I have ever known. He always had a smile. I remember as a kid, I always thought he looked like Frank Sinatra but cuter. Now he is with his other three children.

What can I say.My Cousin Dick was a special person. He would go out of his way to do something nice for anyone.Over the years I was at their house as much as I could, loved the big Family..He always had a smile on his face,no matter how tired he was.He and Cathy had a great Marrige .Sad at the loss of his two adult Sons and Baby Catherine. His Sister Marilee and I were like Sisters. He was my Daughter Cyndis' Godfather. This man had a great sense of humor,if you were down he could always find a way to make you feel better. He. will be sadly missed by many.

We will sure miss this wonderful man. He was such an influence in our daughter Arianne's life! When Sage and Arianne were playing softball, there wasn't a summer day that would go by that he wasn't with Tom on the field helping them perfect their game! And, in Arianne's words "Grandpa makes the best toast"!! Godspeed Dick, rest in peace.
