TJ Reeves

Todd (T.J.) James Albert Reeves unexpectedly departed from our lives Thursday, January 28th, 2016. T.J. was born on April 18th, 1990 in Petoskey. There, he attended school and participated in multiple sports throughout the years. He was an incredibly kind-hearted person who loved everyone. As a truly genuine and compassionate person, T.J. walked this earth with strength and stability that could only be admired. His family near and far are, and will always be, so proud of the man he grew to become.

A loving father and husband—T.J. is survived by his wife, Melissa Reeves (Lukowski), and his 6-year old son, Todd (Aiden); Parents- Todd and Shana Reeves of Walloon Lake and Melissa (Childs) and Chris Poland of Washington; Brother- Hunter Reeves; Sister- Brooke Reeves of Walloon Lake; Grandparents- Al and Judy Reeves of Walloon Lake and Irene and Jim Seelye of Millersburg; Aunt- Renee Reeves-Scheib, Uncle- Troy Scheib, and their daughter Isla of Walloon Lake; Uncle Joshua and Aunt Childs of Columbus, OH; Mother and Father-in-law- Nancy and Henry Lukowski of Romeo.

A funeral service celebrating TJ's life will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd at 11:00am at the Walloon Lake Community Church with Rev David Behling officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 1st, at the Stone Funeral Home in Petoskey from 2-8pm and at the church on Tuesday, February 2nd from 10:00am until the time of service.  Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Petoskey.

            In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor TJ's memory are asked to make a donation to a college fund that has been established, at Huntington bank, for his son. Any other donations may be directed to TJ's wife, Melissa and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
