On behalf of our California branch of the family, our love and comfort flow to Michigan to our wonderful cousins with the passing of Veda. I remember a fun and loving Veda whom I wish I lived closer to over the years. I know she will be greatly missed.

We love you all,
Lynne, Emily, and Molly Wear

Willsons, My Mom was with Veda in the Bortz Nursing Home. I remember Mom stating how much she liked Veda as a roommate. She and Dad shopped frequently at your store in Petoskey and enjoyed Vedas help for floral choices. Prayers for your family. Peggy

So sorry to learn of Veda's passing. It's been years since I last visited Veda. I remember happily all the time I babysat for the family when we lived next door to each other 50+ years ago. My best wishes to the family.

We lost contact but we were good friends in High School. It sounds like you had a good life my old friend. God bless you.

We were so sorry to hear of Veda's passing, yet we rejoice that we know just where she is, that she is free, and well! What a wonderful woman! We will always remember her directing the choir with good humor, and her love and compassion she always showed at the Community Kitchen. I can see her sitting in the chair in the kitchen, directing activity. We loved her, and were blessed to know her.
