Norman "Norm" R. Wiechnick

Norman “Norm” R. Wiechnick, age 47, of Cheboygan passed away Friday, August 11, 2017. He was born March 9, 1970 in Dayton, OH, the son of Norman and Rosaline (Grigsby) Wiechnick. On July 14, 2001 in Cheboygan, Norm married Nicole Turney.

Norm enjoyed snow skiing and had worked at Boyne Highlands where he ran the ski lifts and the snow maker. For several years he volunteered as the coach for the “Cheboygan Crew”, a girls travel soccer team.

Survivors include his wife Nicole of Cheboygan, his step-daughter, McKenzie Carroll of Cheboygan, his father, Norman (Debbie) of FL and his mother Rosaline of Cheboygan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ross Wiechnick.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cheboygan Soccer Association.  Arrangements are being handled by the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home.
