I still fondly remember our family's visits to your store during our visits to Mackinac when I was a kid. Robert created a great impact in his life, not only there but here in Farmington where my young daughter has benefitted from the Arts Council that he had a hand in creating, as well as all the kids (myself and siblings included) who benefitted from his teaching in the FPS over the years. My sincere condolences to Jane (who I went to elementary school with) and all of Robert's family and friends on this tremendous loss, and my wishes for all the best to all of you.

Sending my deepest condolences to the Benjamin family. I worked at the store on Mackinac Island in 1987 and met so many wonderful people because of it. Mr. Benjamin was truly dedicated to his craft and his family.

We are so sorry for your loss! Mr Benjamin was a very nice man that I had the pleasure of getting to know him on my summers working on the island. I always loved going shopping at his store and seeing all the unique things. He will truly be missed.
