Kevin Patrick Tate

Kevin Patrick Tate was born on March 5, 1955 and died on February 23, 2017.  Kevin received a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Missouri.  He was a loving father to Kelly, Van and Mary.  Kevin nurtured within them his deep respect for the power of philosophy and critical thinking, as well as his love for the magic found within nature. Kevin was also a proud grandfather to Abel Goldberg. Throughout his career, Kevin was a compassionate guide to those in need.  Friends and family will best remember Kevin admiring a beautiful Lake Superior agate or traversing a wooded fall trail with his faithful dogs Seamus and Lucy.  He will be greatly missed.  Kevin is survived by his children, his grandson,his son-in-law, Mathew Goldberg, his sister, Kimberly Tate, and his brother in law, Bob Brzezowski.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Stone Funeral Home on Sunday, February 26th from 12:00pm (Noon) to 2:00pm.  Please come and join the family in remembering and celebrating Kevin's life.
